Activated Charcoal (in our whitening toothpaste), not only whitens but acts as a magnet to attract bad bacteria and expel it! The human body does not absorb charcoal which is why charcoal tablets are available to remove bad gut bacteria and poisons (especially in dogs).

Bicarbonate of Soda repairs the mouth's pH and lifts plaque and other items sitting in the crevices of your mouth.

Spearmint Essential oil is a strong antiseptic, eliminating germs and helping any wounds, ulcers and mouth sores heal more quickly. It is also soothing to soft tissues like gum tissue.

Finally, Stevia has been found to reduce bacterial formation in the mouth, making it a popular additive for toothpastes and mouthwashes internationally and now for the first time, in our toothpaste here in South Africa. It also prevents cavities and gingivitis, which sucrose and aspartame certainly doesn’t do!
